Matthew James Jackson

Matthew James Jackson is an enigma in this story.

What we do know is that he was a violent man, who had a habit of fleeing the scene of his various crimes. Originally from Skegness, by the late 1960s he was in Winshill. He was reported missing from 126 Newton Road (the same house as the Kun family had emigrated from) in February 1970, exactly at the midpoint of the range of dates when Fred was probably killed, living in close proximity to the deposition site.

But Matthew Jackson wasn’t Fred – none of his physical characteristics match, but was he involved? Was that why Matthew Jackson disappeared? And why was he living at 126 Newton Road?, a house owned by the Mill, when he had no connection to the mill.
